There is always one

Photo bombing has become the norm in todays digital society. In the panel below a perfect  example what sometimes happens

A beautiful daughter, a beautiful background, a beautiful day, but….. nothing exciting

Then comes daughter number two, like a whirlwind and breaks the tranquillity with a scream

Daughter number 1 jumps out of her skin and they nearly topple into the lake, buts its all fun to daughter number 2

Sister share a giggle and almost fall over laughing

OTHERS SAY

At first only the person closest will notice any difference. “We all get forgetful” others say. “There is nothing wrong” others say. “It’s all in your mind” others say. “I am just like that” others say…….Till……………… he says….. “Who are you?”

  1. Lucy! So very true of this very cruel Disorder, but what a nice way for people to get a understanding of what you husband is going through but not only the love of your life but the love of his life..Nice one get it published my friend xx

  2. I really like the sentiment behind this Lucy, so poignant. So many people are going through this exact same thing and it is so hard for others to understand. I feel that this helps put the message across that even though we can see the person that we love declining so much, we know that they are still there. Lovely.

  3. Excellent concept Lucy. The use of focus blur indicates a change over time but the rose remains a rose. This depicts the subtle changes over time in a person with this degenerative disorder but they are still that person. Only when we see the first image next to the final one do we realise the extent of the change over time. A few simple images give a powerful message. Well done.

  4. Lucy, that really moved me. Such a brilliant image.
I hope it helped you as much as it affected me. As you say, he is still there, that person you love and loves you, and always will be.
